Change break combination CTR+SHIFT+6 to CTR+C

Good news! We can change it in very easy way. Every time I start configuration on a router or a switch I type this command :

Line vty 0 4

escape-character 3

exit

Now if you want to break tracerout or ping you need to use CTRL+C.

Very simple and very usefull command.
