Step by step on cisco web : Cisco Password Recovery
1. Go to ROMMON
- press break on the terminal keybord within 60 sec of power up
2. Type confreg 0x2142
3. Type reset
4. Skip the initial setup procedure
5. Save startup-config to running-config
copy startup-config running-config
or
configure memory
Don't save your running-config to startup-config !!!
6. Change your password in standard way
7. Type coonfig-register 0x2102
8. Save your configuration and reset your device.
My case is little bit different. I need to recover password on Cisco 3560X which is little different than standard way.
